AI-VideoTranslator uses Whisper for local transcription, FFmpeg for video processing, and a self-hosted LibreTranslate service for optional translation.
Point it at a video to extract audio and generate SRT subtitles. You can optionally translate those subtitles and add them back to the video. The CLI uses Typer and Rich.
The repository includes setup instructions for uv, FFmpeg, and LibreTranslate. It also supports a remote LibreTranslate server when you configure one.
